Frosk is resolutely second wave worshipping old school black metal, that sounds like it was recorded in an abandoned shack in the depths of a wintery Norwegian pine forest – characterised by grim, nocturnal ice- and silvery moon curdled riffs, brittle, bitter tremolo leads ripped from guitars with dead-eyed menace, savage, nasty wraith-spite vocals and carboard boxy drums, battering the tracks along their victorious paths, with illuminating segues of vintage dungeon synth ambience.
